Wenbo (Daniel) Zhu

I am a second-year undergraduate at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National University of Singapore, majoring in Computer Engineering. Prior to joining NUS, I completed my freshman year at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, majoring in Computer Engineering under the College of Computing and Data Science.

I’m passionate about connecting ideas across different disciplines - electronics, computer science, mathematics, physics, geography, and even music - to solve real-world engineering problems. I believe many breakthroughs emerge at the intersection of fields, where elegant techniques and design principles from one domain can be adapted to drive innovation in another.

My research interests are in neural network accelerator design, high-performance CPU design, computer architecture, and VLSI chip design.
